Great album, even if slightly inferior to some later works (especially albums like Pornography). I consider it on par with Faith, so it's an excellent album. The review is perfect, well done.

Transylvanian Hunger...gone are the days...decent nonetheless, even if a bit mellow for being Dark Throne.

Amorphis are a "shadow" band, leaving very little in the listener’s mind long-term, even though a few (not too many) songs might appeal on the first listen...it’s certainly not this new Eclipse that showcases their best work, that’s for sure.

At least in the ST there were musicians with real talent, how many damn bands have come out that are just a joke...very few hardcore bands deserve it, the Refused from their early albums being top of the list.

The soul of Litfiba was the duo Pelù - Renzulli; Renzulli on his own (or with his friend Cabo, is that the right name? :D) isn't worth much anymore, especially with this (as you rightly said) poorly disguised pop pretending to be rock... dead and buried.
