Michael Andrews Donnie Darko - Original Soundtrack & Score
Voto:
I love the movie to bits, and even more the soundtrack. Under the Milky Way Tonight is truly a masterpiece; I could listen to it on repeat. I wasn't familiar with Killing Moon, but I’m also crazy about it; I liked it right from the first listen. Heartbreaking and beautiful is Mad World, excellent are Never Tear Us Apart and Head Over Heels. Let's forget about Notorious. But Rio, where did you hear it?
Vasco Rossi Stupido Hotel

What pisses me off is the absolute blindness of his fans. Whatever he writes or sings is a masterpiece. In reality, he has been giving us nothing but massive junk for the past 15 years (I only save Senza parole).
Vasco Rossi Buoni o Cattivi

Since the days of Liberi Liberi, Vasco has been churning out nothing but nonsense. Maybe 5 songs will be salvaged in the last 15 years.
U2 The Joshua Tree
Voto:
The best album I have ever listened to. One song more beautiful than the other, and in response to Bowie & Barrett, I will say that I really appreciate the less famous songs such as Red Hill Mining Town, In God's Country, Running to Stand Still, and Mothers of the Disappeared. I’ll go against the tide, but the song I like the least is actually Where the Streets Have No Name, I don’t know why. From this record onward, however, in my opinion, the decline of U2 began, going through the awful Pop and Zooropa to the last bad and anonymous How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.

Thank you, Savopardo. While we're at it, could you tell me what your favorite songs and albums are? My songs, besides the ones already mentioned, are: Hunting High and Low, The Sun Always Shines on T.V., Living a Boy's Adventure Tale, Stay on These Roads, There's Never a Forever Thing, Out of Blue Comes Green, Sycamore Lives, Waiting for Here, You'll Never Get Over Me, Lifelines, Cosy Prisons, and of course, Take On Me, especially the live version. The albums are East of the Sun, West of the Moon and Minor Earth, Major Sky.

I'm new, and today while reading some reviews, I felt like writing.
I'm increasingly convinced that A-ha are underrated. I've been following them forever, I have all their albums, and I must say that, unlike many bands, they always manage to evolve, and every song is different from the others. Over the years, I've appreciated their gradual abandonment of synths and electronic drums and the increasing use of guitars and acoustic instruments. Even a song like Take on Me played live with electric guitar takes on a whole new dimension. Morten's voice is fabulous, and even though Paal and Magne are not extraordinary musicians, they shine when they write songs like Manhattan Skyline, East of the Sun, and Dark Is the Night, as well as the somewhat lesser-known tracks in Italy like Summer Moved On, Velvet, Mary Ellen Makes the Moment Count, Solace, and the recent Birthright and Summer of Our Youth: truly stunning. Don't be snobbish and prejudiced; these are neither Bros nor Take That. Lifelines is a great album even if it's not my favorite, and it confirms their ongoing growth.
