For your information, I’m the one who wrote the review. I don’t know if by chance you read it before your uncontrollable need for the spotlight took over. And since I’m the reviewer, every time you post something full of nonsense, I get an email... I like the idea of the comparison even if it's not a true review. In my opinion, there was no need to bring up Mogol (who, by the way, has probably sold his poetic talent to someone else by now, being also the author of the lyrics of "Essere una donna" by Tatangelo, which has no poetry whatsoever). It would have been enough to compare it with a text by Gazzè or, at most, with one by Caparezza, who may not be poetic but at least writes sensible and entertaining things...

the album isn't even worthy of a rating because it's not an album. the review is wonderfully written but I can't give more than 3: let's say it loses a point for the chosen subject and another for the sad comparison with PAUL McCARTNEY, you know, the one from the BEATLES.. I mean, just knowing even only yesterday or all you need is love (that's already the theme song of stranamore, even jesse's fans know that) would be enough to avoid the comparison...

I also agree with the de-reviewer... it's sad to think that Renato, precisely he who at the dazzling beginning of his career seemed the furthest possible from the Church, now habitually frequents the Vatican and stuffs his songs with stereotypes pulled from Catholic morals... one of the greatest disappointments and one of the most significant aborted artists in the Italian scene...

Yes, it's on their latest CD "Dark Light," which sounds a bit disappointing, especially when compared to this "Dark Light." Anyway, a really nice one from the last album is "Behind the Crimson Door," rightly the only fast song :-)
