Well... Punisher's critiques are always quite subjective... reading between the lines? It doesn't really make much sense anyway... probably doesn’t know how to review :-) Anyway... it's the same old story, a CD, a live performance, a CD, a live performance... of course these established artists squeeze themselves dry to make as much money as possible... a decent live performance... with a Gates of Babylon that falls short of expectations (in my opinion).

a decent album, although I find this one not very inspired... I prefer "eden roc" or "Una mattina"..........Have you ever listened to Roberto Cacciapaglia?
Ludovico Einaudi Le Onde

Well, logically, a pathetic review as usual from this punisher, what do you expect... probably mommy didn’t teach him how to speak, at least seriously...
Well, the disc is a masterpiece.........

I organized a concert with Einaudi in my city on April 10, 2005 (on the occasion of the closing of a film festival www.albafilmfestival.com, and the opening of the music festival www.albamusicfestival.com), with an orchestra from an American conservatory, who performed 2 new pieces at the beginning, including one specifically written for the occasion. After that, the Maestro delighted us with about 1 hour and a half of great music on his piano (in total it lasted about 2 hours and 40 minutes). In the evening (since the concert was unusually in the late afternoon), I took him to eat at a very special, timeless place here in my area, and behind closed doors, he gave us a concert for just the 5 of us (me and the owners of the place), naturally him on the piano, but accompanied by a violinist friend of ours... another 2 hours of his great improvised music (how wonderful it was to hear "Le Onde" in a Celtic key)... Then a calming herbal tea, and Maestro Ludovico gifted us this CD (signed), which was not yet on sale in stores at the time...

I absolutely don't have blood in my eyes... but it's normal for a singer to pull off some nonsense too; if you personally like everything, well, that's a different story, it's all beautiful...

...I don't agree with dying_sun... Village Lanterne, sure it's of good quality for the fact that it redoes "Street of Dreams" by Rainbow (here with the pairing of Candice Night/J.L. Turner), but even more so for having (in my opinion) masterfully redone "Child in Time" with a solo (not very long) that gives you goosebumps... but is it superior to Shadow of the Moon? Well, no... Shadow isn't my favorite (even though I'll give it the highest rating), but "Ghost of the Rose" and "Fire at Midnight" and the same live DVD released last year, which I consider like Deep Purple's "Made in Japan" for Rainbow's "...on stage", this live performance for Blackmore's Night is of the same qualitative level as the others, they are my favorite albums from the "Minstrel in Black")... in "Shadow..." the title track, "Play Minstrel Play" with Ian Anderson from Jethro..., the very short "Memmingen," "Wish You Were Here," "No Second Chance," "Greensleeves".... they are jewels that have come out differently from Blackmore's past... and I can also agree with you when you mention the dance piece in '80s style ("Writing on the Wall") as being somewhat obscenely light (even though the little solo included in the song isn't that bad). But Village Lanterne, it's a bit repetitive, and doesn't say anything new, whereas Shadow... was the first of the ......'s night project... and still rather original...

...x the nickname (of course) ronnie james dio...but do you have any objectivity?...how can you say that every album dio made is beautiful...he made some great albums, masterpieces like the rainbow trilogy, heaven and hell by the ...sabbath, last in line, holy diver, and personally I can appreciate him up to lock up the wolves, and something from the later ones, but to say that dehumanizer is beautiful, or THAT ALL the albums he made, that there isn't one that's bad....well...in my opinion you should listen to a bit more music in general...
