Brazen Abbot Eye Of The Storm

I don't mind it as a CD... it was the first of the Brazen Abbot that I heard,,, the peak of this group, which features a rotation of singers like Joe Lynn Turner, Goran Edman, and more recently Jorn Lande, along with practically fixed musicians, John Leven, Mic Michaeli, and Ian Haugland from Europe, together with the "leader" and founding member of the group, Nikolo Kotzev... Anyway, the best album by Brazen... is "Nikolo Kotzev's Nostradamus"... a concept album in 2 CDs, which, in addition to the various musicians and singers already mentioned, includes Alannah Miles (remember "Black Velvet" from the late '80s or early '90s?) and the extraordinary Glenn Hughes...
David Gilmour On An Island

.........it's a rather chilly album...I consider Gilmour a great guitarist and a decent composer...but not exactly a genius.....

Blackmore's Night The Village Lanterne

...no beautiful holy man...but it wasn't so much about how sharp Hughes' voice could be...I'm talking about technique...yes, exactly technique, in the sense that I find him much more mature now, and even without hitting high notes, he knows how to convey much greater emotions...also because for that era, my main focus is on Coverdale, whom I absolutely adore (and maybe I'm a bit biased here).

...surely the peak of a band, which even more now, orphaned by the very talented singer, will be hard to equal....anyway, great, great album..and the pleasure of seeing them in Milan at the Mazda Palace last year, with a mixed crowd of metalheads and 50-year-old women in suits...the beauty of seeing how an album or a CD can unite all kinds of people, regardless of ethnicity....GREAT!
