...I would rather compare Loreena with Enya's sister, namely Moya "Maire" Brennan. Try listening to Moya's 1999 album WHISPER TO THE WILD WATER or the 2003 album TWO HORIZONS... then the comparison would be between two "titans" of the genre. GREAT LOREENA... GREAT MOYA.

Honestly, I prefer Discovery over Island... aside from the fact that Island features the singer Bonnie Tyler, but in my opinion, as an album, it doesn't stand up to Discovery.

...not only in the charts "DARK SIDE...." this week in Italy, but also 5 other Pink Floyd CDs... and in order they are "Dark Side of the Moon" at 17th, and then "Wish you Were Here," "The Wall," "Atom Heart Mother," "Echoes," "Animals".... and note, all albums from the era with Mr. Roger Waters.... 6 ALBUMS IN THE CHARTS.... GREAT!!!!

...beautiful... this album makes you travel... a few years later Geldof released "The Happy Club" in the same style, but not with the same "poetry" even though it's a beautiful album, you could already feel a certain bitterness in the lyrics and the music, which was confirmed nine years later with the album "Sex, Age & Death," which had nothing to do with those melodies of green fields and blue Irish skies, but with the despair of his ex-wife's suicide, which occurred a couple of years earlier... Also worth noting is the great debut of '86 with the album "Deep in the Heart of Nowhere."
