....but have you already heard the new masterpiece by Andre Matos, "Time to Be Free"?...it's neither with Angra nor with Shaman, but it presents itself simply as Andre Matos....

Having seen Roger Waters' concert in Verona last year, "The Dark Side of the Moon on Tour": FASCINATING... I watched Roger Waters' concert again two Mondays ago in Milan: superb... pure Pink Floyd... and beautiful special effects, especially during the performance of the entire Dark Side album, with the colored prism from the lights just like the album cover, flooding the whole audience... beautiful... not to mention the pig flying over our heads during the performance of the song from Animals.

...I had read an interview he did in America on the radio, and he said he had two in the works, or already ready, but rock, and as far as I know, not rock'n roll.

By the way, I already got the ticket for the concert he's doing in Milan on April 23rd... x matteowolf... don't get me wrong, I love Waters musically very much...(as you've seen, I've already got the ticket for April) it's just that it might actually vary a bit from In the Flesh... then again, listening to anything he does always satisfies me... and let's hope that in this new date of 2007, he'll already include material from the new CD that's supposed to come out next year.

...I, on the other hand, was in Verona at the arena, in the 3rd row, for the first night of the two scheduled...and experiencing this concert in a "theater" where the greatest global representations of opera and more take place, with an arena that was "completely sold out," was not just exciting...but even more so...even though...the first part of the concert was very connected to the old tour "In the Flesh," which I saw in Milan, I think in 2002.... Why not differentiate a bit from the Gilmour-era Pink Floyd and add a little something from, for example, Atom Heart Mother?... Nonetheless, for this reason alone, I couldn't possibly give it anything less than the highest score...because Roger is the soul, and you can see it, as well as feel it...

I'm voting again too... it deserves it.
Black Sabbath Headless Cross

Splendid "trilogy" started with "Eternal Idol," then "Headless Cross," and finally with "Tyr"... even if there were "Cross Purposes" and "Forbidden" later on, they didn't quite measure up to the three gems from the late '80s and early '90s.... All three are great albums... by the way, my first rock album was actually "Headless..." (then came Malmsteen with "Odissey" and Rainbow with "Difficult to Cure"). And "HEADLESS CROSS"... was enlightening for me because it made me realize how much I could enjoy rock/hard rock/metal... but when I heard ANNO MUNDI by Tyr (which, by the way, Tony Martin revisited this year, if I'm not mistaken, on the album "Giuntini Project III"), I was left speechless by the immense epicness and beauty of this song... and after 16 or 18 years, periodically "Headless..." and "Tyr" end up either on the turntable or in the CD player...
