It's definitely not BURN...and as a result, it doesn't burn much... Soldier of Fortune Great song later covered by Blacmore's Night...
Deep Purple The House Of The Blue Light

Slightly, in my opinion, inferior to Perfect Stranger...but a good album...
Deep Purple Perfect Strangers

Deep Purple The Battle Rages On...

Not bad, in my opinion this closing studio album of Mr. Blackmore... I don't mind it... I definitely prefer it over the latest works done with Steve Morse... but do you know a national guitarist of ours named Dario Mollo? ... check out his works with Tony Martin (The Cage and The Cage 2) and with Glenn Hughes (Woodoo Hill 1 and 2), and now he's releasing a new CD with Graham Bonnett (Elektrick Zoo)... that said, I've said it all... perhaps a poorer heir to Blackmore, but with great style and talent to definitely replace a "man in black" in the Deep...
Deep Purple Slaves And Masters

Great AOR album... So, as Deep Purple, I would give it a 3... but as "Rainbow" with Turner, I would vote 4... this would have been a more than decent Rainbow album with Turner... maybe the best... but here we are with Deep... anyway, a nice 3...
Rainbow Long Live Rock 'N' Roll

...I give it a rating between 4 and 5....slightly below 1" and Rising (the latter, for me, the masterpiece of Rainbow in the studio)....great Gates of Babylon.....and with this album, the story of a legendary duo (Dio/Blackmore) comes to an end.....
Rainbow Down To Earth

Here comes Blackmore peeking into his first AOR album... and the comparison of the genre along with other groups is excellent... At this point, we just have to accept the musical shift of the man in black, because the quality is always high.
Rainbow On Stage

Made in Japan ..... Rainbow ...on Stage....and he's always there....The History of Live Music!!!!
Released, if I remember correctly, in '77, Rainbow Live in Germany..practically a double CD that completes "...on stage"
