Now I'm having a good ...buuuuu... but I arrived late to the Dream band and got to know them through this album. Consequently, I then bought all the others (including the covers...) and saw their concert at the Forum in Milan... AMAZING!!!!... anyway... x Blackmore... great Malmsteen (Yngwie Johann... Bach?)... but we need to be honest that since the late '90s... he hasn't been able to do great things anymore... even with repetitions of scales and guitarist virtuosities to try to make us understand that he's the "fastest of all"... a bit okay... but then... enough!!! You listen to one and you’ve heard them all... I believe the best album is the classic one (which I have on DVD in the Japan version, because it never came out in Europe), and then after that, he even tried to lift himself up by referencing the name Rising Force... but after about 30 years of career, "Johann, breathe deeply and play from the heart... not just with technique"... excuse this digression... here we are in Dream territory...

..but indeed I believe it hasn't been said that they are the only ones who made history...but that they are among those who made history...and of course...when we talk about history, we mention the Led, the Sabbath, the Beatles, Hendrix, and anyone else you can think of...including Floyd...then I also feel like mentioning that in Rome, Waters, in November, sat among the audience during the performance of his opera, and he passed through the crowd afterwards to go to his party...with musicians, directors, and artists in general giving handshakes and autographs...I got my handshake from Waters...I don’t think they are completely alienated from the world to be "granted"...it must be said that when you’re in front of 200 people, you might also allow yourself to take photos with fans, but in front of a stadium with 80,000 people...well then it changes...in Rome, we must have been...let's say...about 2,000?...and he was among the audience, and after a while, once the crowd thinned out, he "allowed" himself...

...no, I’m saying that I am ONE of the groups x par excellence, and NOT the group x par excellence...

x festwca...but they have nonetheless helped the world of music to cement new sounds...surely the members of Faust have listened to and absorbed some sounds from the Floyd, and perhaps in some chords or progressions there will definitely be references to them...it’s natural...for now in music is a pursuit of things already said and repeated but in different styles...because the last emergence of new genres dates back to the "60s to the late "70s...I mention the most important ones, from Elvis to the Beatles, from Tangerine Dream to Pink Floyd, and then Led Zeppelin, Sabbath, Deep Purple and many other great groups and artists who have made history for innovation and skill, or for managing to consolidate an innovation...and I preface that, for example, I don’t like, for instance, the Beatles...but I must acknowledge that they were a pillar of music...because they inspired many great artists who happen to be, for me, legends...

...I believe that sometimes people don’t speak with objectivity...but that’s also fair...festwca, if you tell me that in your opinion The Wall is not the most important rock opera, that’s fine by me, because that’s subjective. But when you say that Pink Floyd are overrated, well, that's definitely not the judgment of someone who is "rational" and objective about music; it’s certainly biased. I don’t claim to have such a vast musical knowledge, because every time I think I’ve built an enormous musical repertoire that allows me to make judgments, someone comes along and shows me that I still have so much to learn in this field... I should mention that I’ve been listening to music every single day for 35 years, from classical to pop, from opera to metal, averaging at least 2 hours a day, not because I’m forced to, but because I love it. I also collaborate with a classic/jazz music festival, so I might have a bit of culture in this area, and I would never allow myself to say that a group like the Floyd are overrated. I can say that I prefer some of their albums over others, sure, but to claim that a band of their musical and compositional caliber are overrated, then emotionally millions of people, and technically thousands of critics, understand nothing about music... (which is true since they are a subject of study in public middle schools, included in music textbooks as a representative band in pop/rock music of the 2nd millennium)... forgive me if I’ve said nonsense...
