I do not share the review... regarding the fact that it is a refined CD... absolutely, but for those who are not familiar with the older works... absolutely not, in fact, I got to know him very well with this album, and gradually I acquired all the old CDs, excluding Genesis because I already knew them... it’s a magnificent album, a masterpiece for me, which can instead help to introduce him better to the great music lovers, and bring closer the young people who want to discover a great artist out of time... anyway, I repeat... excellent album.

Yngwie Malmsteen Concerto Suite for Electric Guitar and Orchestra

...for Marco 85...but have you seen Malmsteen with the G3? ...he was the one who came off the worst technically (because he's always the same and repetitive, and that's how I saw him at the concert)...with a monster like Vai next to him...do you know Patrick Rondat? ...saw him in concert in France...without a singer for 2 hours: he leaves you breathless...you see...I'm not saying that Malmsteen isn't a good guitarist...actually, I think he is...but to me, he has nothing more to say...you can't deny that he's been repeating himself for at least 10 years now...scales on scales, great speed, and virtuosity, but in the end, you can't even define one solo from a song to another...listen to Rising Force, Trilogy, Odyssey (even though it's very pop), Eclipse, and even the much-criticized Fire and Ice...now, sometimes, you can't even remember the titles of his latest albums because they are so similar to each other, or at least you remember them because Jorn Lande was supposed to be on one, but then those two prima donnas clashed. Even the one with Doogie White is terrible, while Blackmore had highlighted this singer's voice incredibly, and then in Cornerstone, he continued to give us the gift of that voice...but Malmsteen made him sing in a darker tone to make his guitars stand out, resulting in a bad album due to the chaos he built into all the songs...then know that for orchestration, you just need a really good supporting orchestra...for example, ONCE by Nightwish...they declared more than once that they didn't even know where to start with the orchestra, stating that they composed the melodies and then the conductor did everything...have you tried listening to that album "Ghost Love Score"? and then tell me if they are not musical monsters too.

...well, I don’t think you don’t know, for example, Uli Jon Roth again with AQUILA SUITE and SKY OF AVALON...anyway, I'm not talking about compositions, because all the great guitarists would be capable of composing with and for orchestra, and then how they execute makes the difference...I repeat...lots of technique, but when I saw Malmsteen some years ago in a venue not far from my home, after an hour we were almost bored by his virtuosity...and it really seemed to us that the songs at a certain point all sounded the same...in my opinion, he lacks spontaneity...and I repeat, putting new pieces with orchestra/classical, I believe that every composer with a capital C, contemporary, is capable...and then, good job...you said it well, today’s Malmsteen lacks spontaneity or "aurea," call it what you want...that’s the point...

...I'm sorry to disappoint you, guitarno limits... but I believe that if you listened to Blackmore even just in Blackmore's Night, amid medieval classic pop rock, he doesn't flaunt speed or meaningless technique, but great transitions between acoustic and electric that go straight to the heart... or in the live piece "Ode to Joy (Difficult to Cure)" by Beethoven that can be heard on the "Final Vinyl" CD... you would understand that I'm not exclusively talking about technique (which Malmsteen has, perhaps even too much at times)... anyway, I invite you to listen to METAMORPHOSIS OF VIVALDI'S FOUR SEASONS by Uli Jon Roth (former Scorpions) who completely reinterprets Vivaldi's "Four Seasons"... the sounds he brings out with the guitar, replacing a violin (at times you're not even sure if it's really the guitar... but it is)... are SPECTACULAR... then again, I'm not saying Malmsteen isn't skilled... on the contrary... indeed, he usually thanks Ritchie Blackmore, Antonio Vivaldi, Niccolò Paganini, and so on in his CDs... the inspiration is there... just too much technique and speed... which after a while tends to blur, and you can no longer distinguish one melody from another...

I, on the other hand, found the concert to be divided into two parts as well... the first part featured the entire CD by De André, and in addition to him on piano and keyboards, there were five other musicians. The second part included some Bluvertigo, a few songs from "L'Appartamento," and some old tracks from the '60s... for me, it was great!!!

one can't say anything... only that listening to Vivaldi's seasons... is an explosion of colors and vastness.
