Armstrong lived a life of an anti-hero. Especially distant from any rhetoric, Oriana Fallaci describes him in "Se il Sole Muore" as cold and calculating, a robot. No one knew of his drama and the black hole that devoured his humanity. It was only with his official biography that we learned the story behind that step. In the film

Inside the envelope is a beautiful photo of the dome of the Shroud of Turin. Perhaps Paul included it for two reasons: the fact that he is Catholic and the dove at the top.

Dylan's "country" phase, '69-'70, is interesting and can be further explored with "Another Self Portrait," released a few years ago. The interesting thing is that when compiling the rankings of essential and influential Italian albums, "La Voce del Padrone" is always there, but nobody ever includes the truly revolutionary album, which is definitely more interesting musically, that is "Capo Nord" by Alice, released in 1980. Battiato and Pio produce and partly arrange it, but I find it much, much more interesting than this and definitely more innovative.
