The solo adventure of the 4 is just as valuable as the one together, there are anecdotes, stories, endless material... in Italy, we think like this... making a clear distinction with the '70s and then everything that came after feels approximate.

A fully reissued catalog by Paul McCartney is on the way, but nothing is known yet about the format and packaging (I hope for a hard cover) or bonus tracks, and especially costs. The film was on YouTube but has been removed recently... perhaps this can be explained by an imminent release. As for the rest, there's a great ignorance in Italy about the Beatles; concerning the solo artists, it’s a triumph of clichés: Lennon the pacifist, Harrison the spiritual one, McCartney the sentimental one, Starr the likable one. Just think that Italy is one of the few countries that has never broadcasted "Wingspan"...

A note, starting from August, MPL will begin the reissue of the entire solo work of McCartney, the first being "Band On The Run." This is interesting because fans are eager to see if Paul will decide to enhance the CDs with unreleased tracks or if he will release a separate box set...in the first case, the entire Wings catalog will be enriched with amazing material!
