Well... I didn't like the episode where Yotsuya's profession is revealed, if that's even the true one. The anime is reductive, lacking the emotional tension that the manga has; it's colder and there's much less poetry, not to mention the tragic Italian dubbing.

Poor things, but do you really believe that Phil Collins is responsible for the pop-rock turnaround of Genesis? The one responsible for most of the nonsense is dear Tony Banks, a guy who just wants to make money... let's not get into it.

The Genesis' passion for Motown is known to all; for them, prog was work, then they made POP-Rock... just read Banks' cold interviews to realize this, where he speaks with detachment about all his undisputed masterpieces. Collins himself admitted that playing in Genesis, at least at the beginning, was like clocking in at a factory.

Beautiful review, truly. You captured the essential element in the forcibly modern Japan, beautifully described by Tiziano Terzani in his wonderful "In Asia." The characters Rumiko, Ataru, Mendo, Lamù, Godai, Kyoko are true heroes. They stand apart from the conformity imposed by Japanese society; they exist on the margins, they are alive.

For me, anime is inferior to manga. The comic is truly moving; you laugh, you get emotional, you get angry. The last 5 issues are then a symphony that you read all at once.

I completely agree, "Domino" has always been introduced with Collins' playful gesture towards the audience to recreate the domino effect, live it is a completely different song.

The song was probably discarded because all of Lucio's so-called "white" records have a total duration of about 40 minutes of music, with 8 songs per LP, each lasting about 5 minutes. It's a mathematical game by the great Lucio; even "Il Bell'Addio" on "L'apparenza" was discarded.

Here, all of Collins' genuine passion for Motown music shines through; it's a surprising and atypical album for a drummer, the last Genesis member to make a solo debut, and he does so with a very personal and refined work.
