They paid their dues with remarkable and tough perseverance; in Hamburg, when they were still in formation, they played in the seediest dives of the city, looking dirty and rough in their leather jackets and their hair slicked back with grease... nothing like the Stones.

What I appreciate about Ringo Starr is the passion he puts into making music; his works are always very professional, and some truly deserve a spin, like "Goodnight Vienna" and "Time Takes Time," for example. The last album of his that I'm aware of is the good "Ringorama," and I haven't listened to anything else aside from "Liverpool 8."
