but indeed....if there was rivalry it was with the Wilson brothers, the only ones who could express themselves at the levels of Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison.

They paid their dues with remarkable and tough perseverance; in Hamburg, when they were still in formation, they played in the seediest dives of the city, looking dirty and rough in their leather jackets and their hair slicked back with grease... nothing like the Stones.

....."The Gates of Heaven", a beautiful film marred by cuts, this is what I miss.

Ringo Starr Y Not
Voto:
What I appreciate about Ringo Starr is the passion he puts into making music; his works are always very professional, and some truly deserve a spin, like "Goodnight Vienna" and "Time Takes Time," for example. The last album of his that I'm aware of is the good "Ringorama," and I haven't listened to anything else aside from "Liverpool 8."

And then the choice to eliminate the "lei" in the dialogues between Kyoko and Godai is a colossal error in the dubbing, as it distorts a fundamental element between the two.

Kyoko's first voice, dubbed by Monica Ward, is irritatingly stupid. The second one is much better.
