Paul McCartney (I Want To) Come Home

Bella, one of her best songs in recent years. The orchestra is conducted by Dario Marianelli, Oscar winner for the beautiful soundtrack of "Atonement."

In June, the new edition of the album will be released with the addition of the cut material; it will be interesting to hear the new master.

No, sorry, "Rode All Night" comes from the Ram sessions.

On the first "McCartney," it was hard to find anything more; they didn’t include "Rode All Night," which is an unreleased track from that period, and I seem to remember that Paul had recorded some rock'n'roll covers in '70, just guitar and voice. The video of its making will be interesting, and then images of the live performances of some tracks from this LP in '79 are published, which, in my opinion, means we will never see a film about the '79 tour, including the live "Last Flight." As for "II," the unreleased tracks have been known for a long time, and perhaps there wasn’t more... it will naturally complete the work and further surprise fans and critics. From these two albums, I didn’t expect much, in my opinion, the Wings' material offers many more gems, and I want to see if for the "Tug Of War" edition, Paul will do justice by including all the tracks recorded by the group. I have always thought that if it had been fully realized by the Wings, it would have been a decidedly better and double LP as it was in their intentions.

The video for "My Love" is a bit trashy for me, at least regarding the shots of Linda and Paul. This period of the band is special because they were a bit like the Beatles in their early days, rough around the edges in sound and very unpolished in their attire. They traveled like hippies in their open bus across Europe with dogs and cats, amazing :D

The moment of the Wings is exceptional, but the printed version of this album does not reflect the moment in its entirety. I have never used the Beatles as a benchmark; I know all the solo careers, and McCartney's 1970s are the period I love the most.

It's difficult, they're quite rare. I recommend waiting for the new edition of the album for the "Archives" series, which should theoretically include all the material.

Essential for me is also "Still Crazy After All These Years," preferably on vinyl. Then, as already rightly mentioned, the first two.

Garfunkel had a crystal-clear voice and his harmonies were stunning. As a soloist, he hardly ever composed but he did record some very beautiful albums.
