Genesis Live In Zürich 1977

But I find it hard to believe that new remasters will come out.. it was them who started the deluxe reissues in 2007, double disc versions with footage etc.. now hard to find for every LP. The publication of some concert is likely, that could be true.

Hi, thanks for the comments. With the last two reviews, I wanted to fill in some gaps...the next one might be about a certain concert from 1982...

Anderson was kicked out because he was writing horrible things and expected others to follow him, see the demo '79.

I have always regarded Rutherford as the wizard of pop Genesis. "Follow You Follow Me" comes from one of his insights, "Turn It On Again" too... "Land Of Confusion"... the sound of "Mama"... the guitar in "I Can't Dance"... all his ideas further developed with the mates.

Beautiful, it's truly a silent film... very emphatic acting, intertitles, and a magnificent soundtrack. Brave.

Great series! If you're interested, also check out "Mary Tyler Moore"...another show ahead of its time from which all the other sitcoms of the late '80s, '90s, and 2000s derive.
Woody Allen Midnight In Paris

Nice movie, not a masterpiece but well-made and light, definitely a pleasure for the eyes.

I really love both "Atonement" and "Pride and Prejudice", I like the fact that it features long takes without cuts, and in "Pride and Prejudice" there’s one that lasts at least fifteen minutes. His is a very pictorial cinema and the portraits of Keira Knightley that he has created are very, very beautiful. I miss this, but I’m looking forward to "Anna Karenina."

Next year, a volume will be released that will collect all of Paul's sessions from '69 to '11, complete with annotations, history, etc...
