Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells
Voto:
After two albums, his creativity didn’t diminish too much; Mike made some mistakes but he was always ahead. With "Islands," he invented the "visual" album; the only colossal blunder is "Earth Moving."
Belinda Carlisle Runaway Horses

This record often spins on my turntable... I have no genre prejudices. It sounds good, it has a good rhythm, there’s Harrison who carves a nice slide solo in "Leave a Light On"... it's fresh and she has a well-balanced voice that expresses itself better when pushed a bit. If only we had a Belinda Carlisle today...
Coldplay Ghost Stories
Voto:
Embarrassing record for a band that, after sixteen years of career, should have stopped at "Viva la Vida"; they've continued to end up with this insipid stuff. Like Muse or other current pseudo-avant-gardists, it's better if they take themselves off the shelves. Two chords, a blues, and start over with the heart of Rock.
Iron Maiden Speed of Light
Voto:
Only the first two, the rest is superfluous.
Petula Clark My Friend The Sea
Voto:
Absolutely, stepping off the well-trodden paths. Well done!

Lawrence Juber? The lead guitarist of Wings, one of the greatest acoustic guitarists, played with this thing here?
Led Zeppelin I'm Gonna Crawl
Voto:
The album is a play of light and shadow; I read that Plant and Jones worked during the day while Page and Bonham worked at night, all of this at ABBA's Polar studios in Stockholm, which gave the album a more polished and better sound compared to the previous ones. The track is exceptional, a mournful blues that closes their career. The rest... "In the Evening" is fantastic, "Fool in the Rain" has superb percussion work, and "All of My Love" is a great piece.
Lucio Dalla Dalla-Morandi
Voto:
Morandi is someone who, at a time in history when they wanted to make him disappear, the '70s, showed his grit and survived, demonstrating that he had courage. I would listen to "Il Mondo di Frutta Candita"... you will find it interesting.
Genesis The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
Voto:
Of all their albums up to '77, this is the worst for me: long-winded, heavy story, too sung and too long. They performed it live more than a hundred times to the point of becoming nauseated by it and wanting nothing more to do with it. Last year marked the fortieth anniversary of its release, and they forgot about it... this says a lot about how much they love the album.
Gianna Nannini Maschi e altri

I stop at "California," the rest is unbearable.
