And I'm wasting time reading things like this......

No, with "Long Gone Before Daylight" they definitely take a step forward, so much so that few have understood it; they have certainly let go of the easier stuff, but their last two works are, in my opinion, more beautiful than this "Gran Turismo," which is the best-selling, the most catchy, but you can't tell me it's the most beautiful.

True "Naked" is quite ugly, too many musicians for a mediocre result. I consider the first four works essential, but I don't mind those from 1985 and '86 either. Anyway, it's always a pleasure to talk about music, goodbye.

Bravo, Mussida's solo in "Amico Fragile" is, for me, one of the best in the history of rock, performed by one of the greatest guitarists in the history of rock.

The second part of the Talking Heads' career is simply a 360-degree exploration of American music; there's country, gospel, some FM rock, post-punk, all reinterpreted in a neurotic key like back in '77, and from this consideration, I exclude "Naked," which is a case apart.
Regarding the Beatles, I don't like "definitive considerations" either, and I don't make them; I respect all opinions (which I've already told you). What I can't stand is the prejudice with which certain topics are handled. You can tell me that a song like "Love Me Do" is simple, fine, but can you write a song like that? Well, I can't—I've tried, and writing songs is hard even with just two chords. Their genius lies in the ability to create extraordinary songs with little; they restored music to its most popular and straightforward form.

You say that the "Talking Heads" in the second part of their career made pop music, but excuse me, is a song like "And She Was" pop? Is a song like "Love For Sale" pop? Is an album like "Little Creatures" made up of pop songs? You know, you have a decidedly incorrect conception of pop; did you grow up on metal and hard rock? Because if that's the case, I understand your thoughts on the Beatles based solely on the desire to stand out, to say different things, too bad you chose the wrong subjects.

Dear vellutogrigio, how can you say that the Beatles did nothing after they disbanded? Who are you to claim this, the ultimate Beatles expert? It doesn't seem so to me, given your opinion of "The Beatles." It sounds to me like you're just spouting a bunch of nonsense without even having a basic understanding of the topic at hand. Have you listened to "All Things Must Pass" by Harrison, "Plastic Ono Band," "Imagine" by Lennon, "McCartney," "Ram," "Band On The Run," "Flowers In The Dirt," "Flaming Pie," "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard" by McCartney? I don't think so. So tell me, what have Jimmy Page done as a solo artist (next to nothing), Roger Daltrey (a little), Brian May (nada de nada)… so how do you explain that? Before you start spewing bullshit, think it over.

I saw them in Vado Ligure four years ago, well, they were phenomenal.
