Lucio Battisti Anima Latina
Voto:
Given my innate passion for Brazilian rhythms and my appreciation for Battisti (in conjunction with Panella, perhaps even more than the "classic" with Mogol), I think I should get closer to this album. Great recommendation. However, I must point out that it's written "saudade" :)

When will the new generations finally emancipate themselves from their parents? Well... They smell too much of Simon and Garfunkel. For heaven's sake, they are quite pleasant to listen to, but...

For those who didn't witness the scene, I confirm and describe: we probably severed the femoral artery on the 2 little chicks AT THE TOOLS on our plates, and blood was splattering everywhere. An unbearable pain and a disgusting sight, that I might almost consider going vegetarian :0

Alright, alright... I'll make the joke: "I'm giving the numbers"... yes, yes... Ok, I'll get out of the way, it's better :D

Well done, Gabri: excellent job! It’s been exactly a month… So, what do I remember about Lugano (in no particular order): the grand final night at LuganeGa and Barbera (...and limoncello, ...and grappa), Humax and I, involuntary chicken-pulp dissectors :-/, the cotton factory in G’s belly button, my diplomatic negotiations with the waiter Ivan (by the way: has he ever popped up in chat?), the sweetness of Vani who is just the same in chat, Frantz’s authoritative stride that left me tripping in flip-flops ten meters behind to catch up with the others :D, Roky, the licorice devourer, the friendliness of Antimo and Mr. Orange. But do you want to know the nicest thing? That now, when I read something written by those who were present at the de-meeting or communicate with them in chat, I can picture what voice, accent, or tone they would use to say what I’m reading. From Antimo’s Campanian accent to Easycure’s Tuscan one, from Gabri’s precise tones to the soft ones of zzzzzzzzzzzz… In any case, I had a really great time and some people turned out to be a delightful surprise!

He will have issues with spacing, but he's among the few who put quotes. Here, no one ever scolds those who don’t use quotation marks for titles! Grrr!

This de-meeting was highly anticipated, arriving amidst a hellish heat. Everything was great, except for a few "sniffs" too many... like those from the drug-sniffing dogs at the Como border; otherwise, you can imagine what a de-balling-meeting would have come out of it!!!

I completely agree, not to mention "The anchovies make the ball"... but I think of every song and I find myself embarrassed, like in front of a shop window where you don't know what to choose. I invoke the "6" that isn't there for this record...
