Elbow A Cast Of Thousand

I can't read it: too many mistakes, I'm sorry, and with every spelling error, I wish I could intervene on the screen with a pen (a pseudo-sub-professional habit). I hope to read your review corrected from a formal standpoint, so I can appreciate the content. As it is, I can't manage (my limitation). Sorry.

This is truly the non plus ultra when it comes to errors and a lack of respect for basic spelling and typographic norms. Do you write with a stopwatch handy? Are you in competition with someone? Does the thrill of quantity over quality fascinate you? I’m starting to seriously believe that you are mocking the site and its readers. I respect those who don’t know the Italian language and its rules well (and perhaps have the humility and common sense to justify themselves), but here, honestly, we are going overboard! If you had written just one review and had the uncertainty of an outsider, I could understand, but if I’m not mistaken, you exceed a dozen! Okay for the enthusiasm of the first time, but a little moderation, please! There are people in here who agonize over their first review, respecting the albums they are reviewing, good Italian, the site, and the de-baserioti (in no particular order). Let’s not abuse the freedom to de-baser, please.

Agreed with Hal. I can’t separate the man from the artist either. I don’t know if it’s a limitation. One could even reflect on this. In the artist, I appreciate the man, and in the man, the artist (?). In Cantat, there’s little left for me to appreciate, and my desire to buy their records has faded. In Rohan, I will appreciate the reviewer when they use accents, commas, uppercase, lowercase, and so on, as they should! The orthographic anarchy (if that’s what it is) prevents me from appreciating the content of what you write (if I must).

Thank you for reviewing this fundamental album (adding "of Italian song" seems almost limiting to me), poetic and intense like few others, and for inviting me to listen to it again. When I think of the emotion that "Inverno" evokes in me every time I listen to it…!
I also recognize, along with Hal, that the limitation that somewhat "dates" the album might be in some arrangements; in any case: reviews of "dated" albums like this one are welcome (if only all "dated" albums were like this!) and don't apologize for elaborating! The quote from "Corale" is beautiful (if you hadn't included it, I would have mentioned it here...) :)

What else is there to say? Once again, a sincere thank you! :)
I’m glad the album has reached an average of 4.5, because it truly deserves that rating.

Yes, "it seems" to be the best... Anyway, it's convenient to get the white box that costs 15 euros or so and contains this album, "Off the bone," with the collection of the very first singles (if I'm not mistaken).
