It's a matter of taste, but this is pure superficiality purpulan.

I would say Old Ways (unbearable country), Landing on Water is indecent but there are some slight glimmers, Trans is courageous and has some nice moments, Everybody's Rockin is a downright joke.

Well, I don't agree; it certainly isn't the best, but it's a great record in any case. And which one would be the worst by Neil? I assume you prefer it electric after all.

Classic 4-disc album with truly inspired moments.
Lou Reed Live @ Anfiteatro Romano di Cagliari, 14.07.07

Great concert, 2 very intense hours with a few missed beats (see Man of Good Fortune, which was stretched too much, and as mentioned Satellite of Love) and some impressive guitar work from the old Lou (Oh Jim). Certainly a breath of fresh air for the Cagliari audience (noteworthy are the pre-concert readings of the Ondarock reviews, highlighting the limited knowledge of a fundamental work like Berlin) and for myself, who has been starved for great concerts. Certainly, hearing fragments such as "I just don't care at all" and "In Berlin by the Wall," just to name a couple, is an experience hard to forget. Another small note is the absence of songs from later albums, such as those from the trilogy of sorrow, but it is what it is, given that the intention was to recreate an atmosphere close to what the Berlin tour would have been at the time, with all its pros and cons. Let's hope they make a bootleg available as well :)). Perfect sound as usual.

Great review for a beautiful album. I agree on "Have a little faith in me."

A review with a different style but still very effective. The real resurgence of Young, Dylan, and Reed in 1989: sorry if that's not much :)

I also consider this album a true gem. From the anthology Unknown Legend to the sharp From Hank to Hendrix. You and me is undoubtedly one of the best tracks from Young's latest repertoire. It would be four and a half stars, but I round it up to five.
