Van Morrison Common One
Voto:
Great choice. The album is one of Van Morrison's most personal, captured between the sublime inspiration of Into The Music and the opening towards synthetic sounds of the subsequent albums. His last 5-star album, in my opinion, remains No Guru, No Method, No Teacher.
Bruce Springsteen Wrecking Ball

In the negative sense
Bruce Springsteen Wrecking Ball
Voto:
3.5 rounded up to four given the significant step forward compared to the terrible Working On A Dream. As far as I'm concerned, The Ghost Of Tom Joad is one of his most beautiful and important works.
Warren Zevon Stand In The Fire - Recorded Live At The Roxy
Voto:
Extraordinary Live, fortunately it has been recently reprinted. It’s a bit disappointing not to see reviews of Jim Carroll on this site yet.

Buddy Holly The Very Best of Buddy Holly and the Crickets
Voto:
Very good, the usual expertise and finally the first review on Buddy Holly.
Steve Wynn Kerosene Man
Voto:
Finally a review on Steve Wynn. Great album, what do you recommend from his subsequent works besides Here Comes The Miracles? Unfortunately, not all of them are easy to find.
Died Pretty Free Dirt

Stunning record
Sebadoh Bubble & Scrape
Voto:
Aside from that, what do you recommend about Sebadoh and other bands of that kind?
John Cougar Mellencamp Uh-Huh
Voto:
The best Mellencamp is undoubtedly inferior to the golden-era Springsteen, although his career is probably more consistent. In any case, it's a nice record, even though I will always prefer Lonesome Jubilee.
