Congratulations, really a great review. Ideal for those who are not yet familiar with the album: first, read what’s written above, then rush to buy it (or download it, bootleg it, burn it, do whatever you like).
Oasis Be Here Now

In truth, the Oasis never really got back on track: the problem is that, after "Be Here Now", Noel got clean, the cocaine stopped burning his mucous membranes, and he stopped writing (semi)decent songs, producing only stuff to fuel an ego generously charged with goat milk.
Ah.. Johnny Depp is phenomenal on guitar in "Fade In Out." Why doesn't he just play instead of acting?
Anyway, one favor, enough with the reviews on the pain-ridden parts of the brothers Eyebrow!

Wow, I thought you were being serious :)
Come on, the blonde angel... please... pathetic!
Coldplay A Rush Of Blood To The Head

Perhaps only a few things that Chris Martin can do with his voice are genuinely praiseworthy in terms of originality: they are the hallmark of Coldplay; for the rest, there's nothing new, it's just classic bourgeois rock.
Another issue: they repeat themselves album after album. This doesn't pay off. In the end, one becomes a caricature of oneself: "X & Y" really moves in this direction.
I agree that one of the most beautiful moments of the album is "Amsterdam."
Manic Street Preachers Gold Against The Soul

(The premise: regularjoan is a she, just to avoid misunderstandings)
The intent was precisely to focus on the lyrical aspect of the album: I would have really enjoyed discussing the musical side, but perhaps I would have been indulging in rhetoric upon rhetoric: I’m not a musician, so I would have turned out to be a jack of all trades of nonsense.
You’re right: the holy bible remains the holy bible (immense), generation terrorists... well, perhaps it's not very close to my conception of "rock," but come on, as far as the lyrics are concerned, it’s truly unique.
