if you really want to oppose someone to Ellis, Burns, then put Barth or Barthleme in there at least we’re on the same continent. then Ellis is mistreated by America because there is still a puritanical superstructure that cannot accept a character like him, see in Italy that bitch Santacroce what a bastard she makes out of every published book...

In first place, for authority, I put De Lillo (even though, personally, regarding enjoyability, I prefer Ellis). In second place, Bret Easton Ellis. In third, Pahlaniuk because writers who produce one book a year don't really convince me much.
And then, if we really want to mention the greatest: Miller in pole position, Burroughs ex aequo, and Bukowski right after, ex aequo with Lester Bangs—and excuse the heresy.

Underworld is beautiful: the point is that that narrative has nothing to do with Ellis, perhaps with David Foster Wallace yes, but with Bret Easton Ellis no. It's like associating any book by Bukowski with Henry Miller.

I disagree. I love both DeLillo and Palahniuk and Ellis. That said, among the three, there are significant differences, based on what I’ve noticed from reading some of their novels. DeLillo leans towards more classic positions: the ideal destination of the narrative of Fante, Pynchon, Salinger, and all the Beat writers. Unmatched in its classicism.
Palahniuk: well, he has a style that is different from Ellis’s; it’s a matter of completely different methods and procedures. Moreover, his characters are always unique "types," never the stereotypes that Ellis tends to choose, who are much more psychoanalytically and sociologically defined.

exactly odradek! I'm talking about atomizer, god how much I love that record: passing complexion is a hit in all of my compilations! in what sense the samples (apart from my hair ruining on the floor like Rapunzel's in the change of season)?
I sponsor ellis to anyone who happens to come by: regular folks and not, secularists and fervent Catholics, heretics and followers of Saint Ignatius!
well done metalhead, follow the catechism of pope regularjoan and you'll also get a super cool card like his!

I gave it three stars because, at the moment I was posting the review, I was thinking about the big black of the legendary Steve Albini who, for me, are unmatched in the noise scene. Yes, I'm a poor Chinaski with a shirt burnt by the lit ends of Diana Blu (wardrobe mutilations). The slogans are due to the IV of Bret Easton Ellis that I'm indulging in these days; besides, usually, I can't even make heads or tails of what I write. Great bionic metalhead. Junkyard dog: better to put on Dinosaur Jr in your headphones – it's really worth it!
