Kosmo, I think the proximity of the Caselli's helmet is doing her harm... that woman looks like a hallucinogenic mushroom! :)

let's say that between these two "great masterpieces" of musical art (!) I definitely prefer (based on what I remember from my teenage listens) antichrist superstar: there were some interesting arrangements and solutions, unlike the usual kitsch from warner...

But damn it, why do I still consider "best album" of Monsieur Brian Warner the one produced by Trent Reznor?? Maybe it’s because Reznor is a genius and can elevate all the crap that comes his way (see also Manson)? Or maybe Manson was occasionally stealing his scores??

surely among the most beautiful expressions of elisa toffoli. I remember that, when it was released, it took me a while to decide to gift myself a copy. but then I couldn't stop listening to "the marriage." since then I've been convinced that the sweet little elisa, if she wanted to, could become our national tori amos.

a fairly pleasant album, at times a bit tedious. still not bad. at least they didn’t sound like the Gallaghers or Blur or any other band trying to copy the Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, etc. etc.

Thank you for the compliments (come on, I don’t deserve them!). And the blog too... it's chronicles of a delirious mind on the brink of the most hallucinatory schizophrenia :D!!
Anyway, regarding the news shows, I completely agree with Odradek; there is indeed a certain difference that becomes a commonality since, in the English landscape, both cabarets and news shows in those years were among the few that dared to undertake such experiments (all lost, as they were in punk, various trash...).
In any case, my favorite of the three from Sheffield remains "the original sound of sheffield": it features all the biggest hits, a bit of a re-evaluation of their artistic journey: from the dada sonatas to the more melodic ones, and much more.
