I also found the algebra suicide on one of his sites, just like the naked raygun and the big blakes from Hetfield.

Well, it also helped me to discover a few groups I wasn't aware of before, but the guy Scaruffi is a bit presumptuous: he too often divides into "groups that invented something" and "groups that didn't invent anything new." I agree about the Guns, also because with a certain exasperating populism, in Italy there are people who only know Metallica, Guns, and some other fans like Led Zeppelin (whom I like), and that idiot Pelù, and claim to be music connoisseurs. In this sense, Scaruffi is absolutely right. But on everything else: I think it’s a bit excessive for him to belittle Massive Attack... I understand that you might not like a genre, but dismissing it just because it doesn't fit your conception of music seems a bit mundane and childish to me...

Regarding Scaruffi Piero, the philosophy section of his website has me in stitches: not only does he not understand a damn thing about music, he doesn't get a fig about philosophy either and still dares to talk about it. I've learned from that loudmouth that David Bowie's albums are all a mess copied from The Who :DD

I've been listening to it these days and I have to say that I like it even though it's not exceptional.
Massive Attack Danny The Dog

Yeah, we almost have the same records: you like the wild bunch too?! Anyway, for the comments just wait: they are still all in the process of recovering from the Easter and Easter Monday binge, give the young lads some time to recover :))

very good review. I also hope for a return to black sounds in the future. Even though there are some truly remarkable experimental things here, the cold electronics of 100th window left me a bit too bewildered.
