The Jesus And Mary Chain Barbed Wire Kisses (b-sides and more)

@ sfascia: thank you, you’re always very kind; however, by not listening to Jesus, you’ve missed out on something, hehehe. @ randolph and zigghio: you know, before posting the review, I put on Darklands again to see if my rough punk disposition would make any concessions to that album... I couldn’t do it... I still hold that opinion, even though Automatic is really beautiful, true true true. I agree with you and zigghio when you talk about the dual soul of the Reids.

I should start by saying that I'm completely ignorant about this album. But the review is very intriguing, well done! These are the kinds of pages on Debaser that catch my interest and motivate me to buy records.

and after the universal judge of the post above mine, this too: "This review has been viewed [666] times"...well...are we prophetic?

I remember that, in the interviews that preceded the release of Riot Act, Eddie Vedder took on a peaceful tone, like an artist who finds stability while the world goes crazy; this already made me suspicious... Antmo, I have a thing for the "bite and run" artist: you contribute to the history of music, then, when you realize you're running low on inspiration, you let it all go, for the good of that same music that has given you so much.

I don't know... the Vedder company in franchising has never completely convinced me, not even when they were at the peak of their creativity (yes, the usual Ten, Vitalogy, and the like). Just imagine now that, especially after Riot Act, they are experiencing a slow and inevitable decline. But if they have nothing left to say, why on earth do they keep releasing albums?? Who knows, they should just stay home and relax... or not?

portrait of the artist as a young dog. Right now, I hear the voice of the little dog: it has the same sound as the sea waves crashing on the shore.

Hehehehe! In fact, after posting, I realized (in my perverse mind) that the expression was quite trivial ahahahahahahah. Yes, canuto nestore, I'm looking for the link between the last moment of the night and the first of the day.
