"For RegularJoan, I read your profile, now I understand everything; you’re a pathological case like many others and you’re really young, and here too I get it, in fact you, Ghemison, and Dave (what happened to him? Is he on vacation?) can hold hands and walk a long road, surely winding like it has been for everyone, and then we can talk about it again, goodbye youngsters...
Name: Mariaelena | Date: 30/12/2006 | Rating: — | Rating of the Album: "-->In my opinion, you express yourself this way because you really don’t know how and what to respond to criticism, so, in a rather childish manner (showing that you are mentally much younger than I am and clarifying once again that biological age and mental development travel on two different vectors), you call me a pathological case: rightly so, when one doesn’t know how to respond critically, one resorts to jests and insults from a B-grade comedy show… I recommend that you distinguish the "figurative meaning" and the "literal meaning" of my comment and you come to call me a "pathological case"... Okay, as you wish... Intelligent discourse is rare."

The Masoko are one of the few pleasantly listenable bands from the past year. I have to thank a friend for introducing me to them with this bubu'7te. Beautiful guitars, '80s sounds (they remind me a bit of Gaznevada and some Florentine and Romagnolo pop episodes), surreal and ironic lyrics in the style of Manuel Agnelli from the early Afterhours albums (try listening to "Cool" or "e/o" or "Alfonso"). Forget Offlaga Disco Pax! The new sibyls of Italian rock are Masoko and Baustelle!

Regular sorry, but "infer" in the sense of "deduce" or "to strike a blow"?
Name: Ghemison | Date: 28/12/2006 | Vote: — | Vote on the Disc: —---> ehehehe! ghe, I would like to tell you "in both senses" but, in the name of political correctness and my target for annual good deeds, I have to tell you "in the sense of deduce".-)

@mariaelena: I understand that it's not easy for everyone to infer the figurative meaning from the literal one of a statement, so I will behave as Ghemison advises, that is, I won't respond to you, especially since you're commenting on your own. Have a good day.

I came up with a parallel that's half exact: Pop Group-Antoni Tapies. Nice review.

the album is wonderful, there are no other words to describe it. the review would fit perfectly in an episode of "L'Albero Azzurro"....Be careful: with all this honey/sucrose etc. in the syntax, you might provoke diabetes in someone.

Among all the reviews you’ve published on Debaser, this is definitely the best! Well done, Pretazzo! Maybe it’s because right now I’m on a trip with female singer-songwriters (Amos, Lunch, Patti Smith, Vega, Apple, and the like), but these words are almost poetry.

oh, yessa! And there's a drawing on the cover of You Made Me Realise, it's very wide because American sizes are much larger than ours... I'm thinking of using it as a dress for New Year's Eve party! No denying that Italy and Europe in general are the fourth world when it comes to merchandising.
