Already panned in 2000, I can’t remember the occasion or which music magazine it was. Bjork? You’re right to slam her here. Miles Davis? No one has panned him, so you have the right of first night. Anyway, maybe you’re right to slam “this kind” of artists, but come on, what’s the point in going after Santana, who is now the Matteotti of Latin American rock??? Come on!!

The problem is not whether to attack or not. The problem is attacking while always saying predictable things and (would you look at that!) saying them about works that one expects to be attacked by someone (when they've already been attacked by someone): to me, this story stinks of nonsense from three thousand kilometers away.

Sometimes, with this excuse of "emphasizing", "underlining", "not taking for granted", people often just try to mask the fact that they have nothing to say, don't you think?
