The Beatles Abbey Road

I'm sorry to have to disagree completely with the review. A comparison between Ummagumma, In The Court, etc. does not fit at all with the Beatles. The fact that innovative records have been released does not diminish the value of this one, which may be more classic. For me, Abbey Road is a great album, especially for the presence of tracks like Something, Come Together, Here Comes the Sun, Because, I Want You, Polythene Pam... a magnificent album.

@KACZYNSKI: In the remixed versions of the albums, they're all there. I take this opportunity to thank everyone for the votes and comments, I really appreciate it!

The review wouldn't be bad... but aside from Venus, you didn’t mention any of the tracks included in the compilation!!! You could have highlighted masterpieces like Never Marry a Railroad Man, Inkpot, Rock In The Sea, Send Me A Postcard, This America. What a great collection this is; I can’t stop listening to it!

Very good, excellent proposal. The best is nice, but all three of their studio albums deserve a listen too. It’s curious that you didn’t mention Tony Williams, the band’s bassist, who briefly played with Jethro Tull in 1978, since John Glascock was already sick. He also plays in the live DVD at Madison Square Garden from 1978. Toy Williams recently reunited the Stealers Wheel, starting from 2008. Great band!

Read in 2002/2003, great beautiful, a work of undeniable value, even though I find the ending weak... why do Frodo and Gandalf have to get on that kaiser of a boat and go beyond the sea? BOOOOOOH!

Maybe I was a bit harsh with the rating, but synth pop really doesn't fit... more like synth-rock. I'm crazy about Middletown Dreams and Gran Designs, even though I truly believe the album reaches its peak with Marathon, it's spine-tingling. But they really have delivered one amazing album after another!

Great album, not perhaps on the level of Signals and Grace Under Pressure, maybe because I found it to have less direct impact, maybe because it’s very technological in sound. Middletown Dreams and Gran Designs drive me crazy, although in my opinion the pinnacle of the record is reached in Marathon, it’s goosebump-inducing. But they really have created a more beautiful album than the other!
