I'm going a bit against the grain, but this album has excited me much less than the first solo album, Wet Dream. Perhaps it's because I’m not too fond of the ambient openings or the generally dark atmosphere of the album or the vocals that certainly don't remind me of the good old days. There’s some good stuff on this album, like Night of a Thousand Furry Toys or Breakthrough, without a doubt, but it doesn’t measure up to its predecessor.

I'm sorry for the 1 I gave in 2006, and I don't know why I did it; I must have been wrong. On one hand, it contains excellent pieces like Rhythm Of Love and Love Will Find A Way, or Shoot High Aim Low (a bit too long for my taste), but on the other hand, there are Big Generator, I'm Runnings, and Almost Like Love ruining the album. You were right to highlight the excessive coldness, atypical for Yes. Compared to the excellent 90125, we are definitely in a declining phase here, which will culminate in the abyss of Talk and the void (without Rabin) of Open Your Eyes. I reiterate that this album is not the best.

A bad album, undoubtedly the worst by Yes. I would only save From the balcony, but tracks like Love Shine and Wonderlove are definitely below par. With The Ladder, they will recover, fortunately.

A rather mediocre album, but it has its merits; as you rightly say, it’s played and produced superbly. It’s a shame that some compositions are rather embarrassing. Honestly, the suite doesn’t say much to me, while tracks like The Calling or Real Love are maybe on a slightly higher level than Walls or Where Will You Be. Unfortunately, this is how the Rabin trilogy comes to a close, but it started off great with the masterpiece 90125.

There was a time when I was obsessed with cottonwoodhill, I should listen to it again.

One of my favorite movies from when I was younger. The best part is the ugly Neapolitan guy with the big nose, by the way recycled recently, 1 or 2 years ago, recycled from Striscia la Notizia, who was an enthusiastic fan in the audience.
