I've never been crazy about this album; he only sings well in harmony with Yes. Pleasant compositions, but not out of this world.

@Genoo: it's better that it doesn't disappear forever, but remains as a warning so that it never happens again. Disorienting.

A magnificent album, for me it was love at first listen; I received it as a birthday gift this year. It has been considered the most irreverent album towards morally uptight America and the most infused with irony, humor, and critique. Among all, "Stick it Out" (tiralo fuori) with its first part sung in German is the highlight. Not to mention the theme of sex, which permeates almost the entire album (Catholic Girls, Crew Slut, On The Bus) in a liberal and libertine way, right in the face of various figures like Tipper Gore, John Lofton, etc., who a few years later would try to silence the music industry with the hateful "Parental Advisory" sticker. It also took a lot of courage to release albums that spoke so irreverently about topics that are still "hot" among the American puritans, like venereal diseases (Why does it hurt when I pee). And then the music, as always, is at a spectacular level, with the variations brought by the slap in "Keep It Greasy," the reggae vibes of "Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up" and "Sy Borg," and the breathtaking solos like "Watermelon in Easter Hay" or "He Used to Cut the Grass."

Untie the knot, the ballad of the band and nothing on the Tv are indeed weak tracks, the result of a rather abrupt and unexpected turn, but there are some songs that literally drive me crazy, which are Electric Land, Painted Face, and Racetrack, that I wouldn't want to be missing from any best of the band, truly stunning. A 3 for this album is well deserved.
