Well... the movie started off well, but as we get closer to the ending, it turns into an absurd mess.

In the years I've been frequenting Debaser, I've often found myself facing a true idolization of Syd Barrett. To be clear, he was great, but let's not forget that it was with Gilmour that Pink Floyd became famous... and with The Dark Side Of The Moon, which I don't consider controversial at all. Barrett is undoubtedly missed by the band, which dedicated an album and title track to him, but honestly, I don't think he could have contributed much to this album anymore. In my opinion, the album is immense; it completes the golden quartet of Pink Floyd alongside the already mentioned The Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals, and the very dark The Wall.

Nice review and a beautiful way to remember God, one of my favorite singers of all time. His death has shaken everyone who feels that these kinds of characters are part of their life. Beyond that, I found The Devil You Know to be an album that doesn't live up to the other three Sabs+Dio chapters (as I wrote in my review of this album). The tracks drag on too much, with a few good ideas here and there (Eating The Cannibals), but everything feels déjà vu. It's a real pity. There's a rumor that there’s still an unreleased track by Dio that is truly the last thing he ever published; it would be great to hear it, let's hope it gets released posthumously. R.I.P. Ronnie!

I'm going to see it tonight... unfortunately, we have to get used to American-style atrocities in historical films (Troy, to name another). The worrying thing is that then people think it was really like that in the Middle Ages... or that film history can actually replace the original.

You rightly mentioned the legendary "Let It Roll," "Shoot Shoot," and "Mother Mary": a great album that I listen to regularly because I adore the UFO with Schenker. The cover, as usual, is striking, typical Hypgnosis style.

She is a stunning babe and a great actress, but this movie is quite weak.

Well, a round of applause for Johnny Depp's performance, always able to steal the show on screen. In fact, the film is not much to rave about; it really lacks something.

Balls, it seems to me that after a while their music is always kind of the same... I don't know if I will listen to this too.
