@ODRADEK! I respect you, brother. Even though my musical tastes are very different and varied from yours, I can recognize at a glance who understands music, and consequently understands that there is also an undeniable subjective taste.
@LUKISSIMO! Do you want some names of recent albums by talented musicians, both Italian and foreign? (according to my taste, of course ;P)
Here they are: "Ora" by Jovanotti, "Eden" by Subsonica, "Ho sognato troppo l'altra notte?" by Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, "Tron Legacy" by Daft Punk, "Heligoland" by Massive Attack, "Embrya" by Maxwell, "James Blake" by James Blake.

Peace ;)

@LUKISSIMO! I see you've been to a serious songwriting school... 1st I hate Nino D'Angelo just like your De Sfroos (but I didn’t offend anyone with my comment100, I just gave my opinion). Then, among your list of songwriters that you define as similar to Davide, you also include Neil Young and say "even he must have made some uninspired music since he has always done the same genre"... my dear, Neil Young has been so monotonous that his albums range from Country Rock to Psychedelic Rock... the comparison doesn’t hold, buddy. Anyway, tastes are tastes. Peace ;)

@LUKISSIMO! Davide like De Andrè... as a famous Neapolitan said, "But do me a favor..."
As for the ignorant epithet (I hope regarding musical matters), it’s not quite accurate, trust me. Look for my blog and you’ll see that if there’s an ignorant one in musical matters, it’s certainly not me, dear.

@LUKISSIMO! It’s important to state that I’m also Neapolitan. So my comment wasn’t a racist statement. Regarding Nino D'Angelo's art, there are large groups who claim he is a genius. I simply assert that both D'Angelo and De Sfoos create music tied to their territory in a rather unoriginal way (it’s called folk music) and they are quite repetitive ;P

Review is too biased. Moving on to Nathalie and her first 'real' album, I think the beginning is promising; let's hope that over time it doesn't become 'commercialized' like Elisa and L'Aura...

A superficial review. I've been following Subsonica forever, and this latest album isn't bad. I admit I still need to process it, but the premises are positive.

I also think that as of today this is the best album by Subsonica. It's where you find that perfect mix between edgy rock indie and electronics.

Review in pure Club Dogo style: Self-referential. Too bad there are people who read and listen and judge.
