I must admit that even their record label doesn't know this CD.

Perfect and conceptually shareable review. However, I believe that the sound of the solo piano can never be a commercial gimmick. Because if that were the case: Gaga, Rihanna, Shakira, Lopez, etc. would play the piano!

@ DARIUS !!!
You can't deny that Shakira is as commercial as toilet paper.
My point is never about other people's personal tastes. I'm the first to share a thought different from my own. The problem is that this sponsored by the "not even genuine" body that I assume is Shakira is not Pop music, nor Latin music, nor Experimental music, nor anything at all...

It's just shapeless plastic. Trust me.

Nail stuff. DARIUS, how can you say that the song "She Wolf" is musical experimentation? I think you're joking and that your review should be taken as a provocation... But if that's the case, how can you give it a 3/5 rating, Carmelo??? The problem is precisely that there are people who still buy this sub-species of 'aesthetic' music—just videos of sensual dances and nothing else! Trust me, if MTV and other music television channels didn't exist, even their mothers wouldn't know who 'singers' like RIHANNA, SHAKIRA, GAGA... are.

Flawless and shared review. I also expected a lot from this 80s electronic/pop novelty.
But unfortunately, not much substance on the grill. It's true that the first tracks are of good quality (maybe the first four), then boredom sets in.
The only POISONED thing is if the album disappointed you because you say, "I will get their second work when and if it comes out, and I hope they will have found their poetic and musical voice by then."???
Good level electronic music exists; you won't miss these two handsome guys!

I want to respond to this comment from BIASPOINT:
"An album must be listened to, listened to, listened to, listened to, listened to, listened to, and perhaps listened to again; it's easy to make hasty conclusions. The times when you bought CDs or LPs and, having paid for them and maybe without even a listening preview, would never stop listening to them because you were afraid of having thrown away money, and then, after countless listens, you would shout for joy for not having been wrong this time! How many bands have I discovered this way, blindly; now everything is easier, downloads, quick first listen, second with more conviction, and maybe by the third you don’t even get there, and then reviews are written or commented on without having understood anything. Stop!"

I agree that nowadays it’s easier than in the past to listen to more artists in more or less legal ways. However, I believe this benefits awareness and sound quality. I don’t quite agree with your point about needing to "listen, listen..." in a cyclical manner before judging. If you use this method even with a CD like the latest from GAGA, 'trust me,' by the end, you’ll like it. Tastes are tastes, and I won’t argue about that, and I understand your fierce defense...
