Nice album and the singles' remixes are great too. Starblazer, I don't think you've ever listened to this album. Clearly your rating is for the character (which I still doubt you know).

Hi Zion, welcome back! Great album and the follow-up "Unbalance" is also nice. Rhythmically complex, a future-dub that, as Gabbox wrote, approaches Detroit Techno (a bit like what Benga, Martyn, Headhunter, etc. have done). Beautiful!

Send it bomb! Upon its release, despite the hype surrounding it, I wasn't thrilled. I'll try listening to it again. Lately, I've been crossing over between the new stuff from Flying Lotus and Scuba. In between, Martyn (Great lengths), Headhunter (Nomad), 2562 (Aerial and UNbalance), and King Midas Sound. This means the most rhythmic dubstep that I enjoy. For the purists of the genre, I recommend Vex'd (Cloud Seed) or Dj/rupture for the various influences. It's got nothing to do with this review, but Badu's latest is amazing! I even bought the CD!!

Yosif, I was indeed referring to the reviewed album. I haven't listened to the more recent productions.

Uhm.. I don’t know. The review is good but it seems to me that the FSOL sound has remained tied to the electronic clichés of the Nineties. It feels like an album that, although recent, is already born old. De gustibus, but they are still good nonetheless.

If you're interested in talented women in electronics, IDM, and similar genres, try listening to, for example, Ellen Allien or Dani Siciliano.
