I saw Nicole Krauss on TV - in the dead of night - a couple of days ago, being interviewed while she was in Mantova. She said that The History of Love is primarily about memory. And yet. I hope she soon writes another marvelous book. What would you have written, Bartleboom? :)

Well, at a concert, for once I had the guts to ask for a song - one of his old ones - he lectured the audience saying that you shouldn't do that and a bunch of other things that, being a bit tipsy, I didn't quite understand, and then I found him less likable than before, a bit arrogant even. That said, I like his music, especially that of the early albums.
