darklands is more pop, all the songs are in D/A/G, barbed wire kisses is rougher. b-sides, demos, and SIDEWALKING!, automatic is more bluesy (so to speak). anyway "i am happy when it rains!". Darklands starts like this: i, i am going to the darklands, to talk in rhyme with my chaotic soul, as sure as life means nothing and all things end in nothing and heaven i think is too close to hell.
