Qui Qui w/ Trevor Dunn

Great mention, in addition to the names mentioned (and what names they are!) Buon Giorno Nicolò immediately reminded me of Nomeansno (of course) and the second album by Sgt Sunshine (my trip). As for Pissed Jeans, a big who knows.
The Myrrors Hasta La Victoria
Voto:
Borges saw the Aleph in a basement, at the bottom of the stairs under the dining room: a small sphere two centimeters in diameter. Was it a false Aleph? I found one between Tea House Music and Hasta la Victoria, it lasted about three minutes and in it I saw infinite mirrors reflecting each other. Could that be the authentic one? What’s certain is that Myrrors are always enjoyable for me, but I can't define or categorize them more precisely than a generic "psychedelia."
Lleroy Dissipatio HC
Voto:
Due to three premises: 1) Morselli's novel, imperfect but with a breath of death blowing through it 2) the excellent page by mikinikagi, which is, among other things, less cryptic than it seems 3) the release on Taxi Driver, a Genoese label that I follow and which usually deals with stoner, sludge, and similar genres (whose shop has unfortunately just closed); I was saying, because of 1, 2, 3 I listened to the album and I don't remember a single word except that it reminded me of Fugazi. Aloha
The Cosmic Dead Psych Is Dead
Voto:
Rock is dead, let alone psych. A record I listened to and of which I remember absolutely nothing, a void. Well? Easterfaust, for instance, was much more recognizable and personal.

After the brick that was Morto, this album was needed: more direct, easy if you will, not very memorable, but in any case, as quirky as the Morkobot tradition. For me, they perfected this style in Gorgo: it sounds less contrived, with Lin, Lan, and Lon in perfect symbiosis.

Dear Psycho, there’s such a buildup of records collecting dust on my shelves that I’ll never be able to keep up with the bulimia of The Oh Sees and King Gizzard and their lizard wizard (who I actually like and appreciate), considering that I’m a damn nostalgic and I keep re-listening to stuff from thirty years ago.
The Dream Syndicate How Did I Find Myself Here?
Voto:
I really liked the single, but after listening to the whole album, I got the feeling that it's just not the time for... well, they already said it. It's just that I'm not in love with it like the reviewers are, and I don't know anything about Steve as a solo artist. At times, the sound even struck me as shoegaze, is that possible? Ah, I don’t know why, but the title track reminded me of Mirror Blues; in fact, I'm going to listen to that god of a song now. Aloha.

Record from the time when I listened to every Elektrohasch release and, needless to say, I remember very little. I definitely liked the first one more: it was rougher. Mat Bethancourt, a character who played in several bands, all of them from the seventies: Kings of Frog Island, The Beginning (perhaps my favorites), Cherry Choke, and others.

I've listened to Eggnog two hundred times, I even wanted to get the vinyl if it didn't cost 40€, damn them... I really like the pages of Ziltoid and I'll listen to them tomorrow, thanks.
Edgar Wright Baby Driver

Did you see it in English or Italian? Because I watched The World's End, and given the barrage of jokes and its very particular humor, I can't imagine it translated.
