But this archaeological operation is phenomenal! Land Speed Record and Everything Falls Apart are the only ones I haven't listened to a thousand times, but here the sound coordinates expand so much compared to those two albums that it's truly a pleasure to listen to these 69 tracks on repeat, nostalgia and all.
Batushka Litourgiya
Voto:
I stumbled upon this page, Galen. Maybe it’s because I see batushka all the time (it's a Russian literature phase), and from the cover, I was expecting the Om (what a delusion!) and I've always hated my grandparents' house full of religious icons. But the proposal (now playing on the stereo) is quite hard to digest!
Mt. Mountain Dust
Voto:
I'm taking notes. I've just finished listening to the album, but I need more listens to express a sensible opinion. Mountains, dust, desert, as usual, invite me to dig deeper. Keeping up with Soto is tough, but there are many interesting suggestions.
Stupid Cosmonaut Algol

Second paragraph too cryptic: I was referring to a collection of comic stories by Hoshino.
The Cult of Dom Keller Paradiso Is On Fire
Voto:
I have enjoyed listening to all their albums, but it's a cult I can't bring myself to join.

This beautiful page of algol has made my head spin; my two neurons are clashing against each other in a (Oort) cloud and understanding very little. I read it again with pleasure and understood hardly more than an 'H', but I learned a new word: pleochroism. The album is the least brick-like of the UFI and now I'm off to horse racing.

And where did you pull these from? The magician's hat? The proposal is very underground and quite interesting, but the LP is nowhere to be found: I only see a cassette online; maybe this time I'll settle for putting Ash Ra Tempel back on, which always works perfectly.
Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile Lotta Sea Lice
Voto:
Pleasant album, but Vile's previous works are on another level. Pretty Pimpin' has been surprising me for two years now as I find myself humming it.
IDYLLS The Barn

For me, the practice of blasphemy has always been bothersome, even if there are times it fits. Instead, I approve of the practice of relentlessly tormenting the earlobes.
Bob Dylan Blood on the Tracks

I stop to review the bob; the review isn’t bad but it doesn’t do justice, at least according to my annoying self. Then, talking about these universally loved records (and knowing that everyone will pass here) at least read it again to eliminate the typos. And now I’m off... to work.
