You do what you can; after all, this is an amateur review site, right? Anyway, thanks for the advice.
Mark Knopfler The Ragpicker's Dream
Voto:
Beautiful album, intimate and gentle, in my opinion the best of Knopfler solo. I want to mention MarbleTown, a piece where Mark really connects with the listener; it feels like being around a fire under a starry sky, four friends and a guitar. Nice review, not very engaging to be honest, a 3.5. Since you write much better than me I'll give you a 4, bye.

I respond to Burns: I didn’t say the last piece is pointless, just that it lowers the tone a bit because the music (definitely experimental and acid) in my opinion isn’t very well focused, it sounds a bit like a demo tape. I'm not the only one who thinks this way, and I didn't go on the offensive; I've been listening to this record for a long time! The review is definitely sparse and meager, maybe a bit predictable, but it’s difficult to stay within the limits suggested by DeBaser (recommended 1200 characters, maximum 1800). Hi and thanks for the comments, even if they aren’t flattering :)

Hey, how come nobody has reviewed this album yet?
Lisa Stansfield Biography
Voto:
Nice review, a bit long to be honest (maybe you could have avoided mentioning every single song). Electronic dance music is definitely not my favorite genre, however, Lisa Stansfield is better than many others. When it comes to greatest hits, I completely agree: I HATE THEM!
Minutemen What Makes A Man Start Fires?

OK, it might be a 4. It got a 3 because it's a (much) shorter version and sounds (a little) worse than the unreachable Double Nickels. In any case, Minutemen have never made a bad record!

Actually, the review kind of sucks. It's my first one, a trial with an unknown album to test the waters. I'll try to do better with the next ones.
