There's no doubt that the Pumpkins owe a huge debt to Husker Du. However, I find Mellon Collie tedious and verbose, with a few flashes of brilliance here and there.

Sanjuro, you’re great! But how did the mediocre Smashing Pumpkins end up among those fantastic bands?

"Rock for Light" is the most extreme, ultra-fast, and original hardcore I've ever heard. I'm not a hardcore enthusiast, but I definitely prefer this to Black Flag, Minor Threat, DRI, etc. The reggae tracks are great too; they help cement the album in your memory, which might otherwise slip away too quickly. A concise and well-written review.

It does not express raw violence but the inner struggle, entirely psychological, of a static chubby boy (and gay) who is not well accepted by society.

Congratulations on the review, to be completely honest I struggled a bit to read it with all those quotes from the song lyrics. As for the album, nothing to say (stunning). Personally, I enjoy the '90s albums more, especially "Sleeps With Angels" and "Weld," but "Ragged Glory," "Mirror Ball," and "Broken Arrow" aren't bad either.
Metallica Kill 'em All

As for the album, in my opinion it's the best by Metallica, not as technical and perfectly played as the later ones but original enough and irresistibly engaging! The best tracks: the epic 4HorseMen and the devastating (but with an incredibly stupid lyric) Metal Militia.

Guys, calm down! The review is indeed poorly written, but is it really necessary to insult, threaten, etc...? The reviewer expressed their opinions; we can disagree but let's express it politely. (Think if the reviewer were a child on their first review, you traumatized them for life!)

The album is beautiful, perhaps a bit scattered. It is certainly not at the level (excellent) of the three previous ones, but it is better than the subsequent useless albums. The review is original and I like it a lot, even though it reveals little about the album.
The Replacements Let It Be

Nice review, it reads really well. "Let It Be" is an untouchable album, even though I'm not crazy about their "big ballads," not even on the subsequent albums. I agree with donjunio, my fellow Huskers move me more, bye.
