Black Breath Razor To Oblivion

Well, approaching forty and putting on Black Breath for Christmas, happy holidays fuck!
Randy Holden Population II

I read that we should be cautious about the CD version because it has a sound that isn't quite faithful to the original. I think mine is the same as psycho (Progressive Line - 2001), but I couldn't say anything about the bonus tracks. Anyway, the sound is stunning; it feels much more recent than it actually is, almost doom metal from the '80s onwards. They say that Holden had amassed a mountain of Sunn amplifiers that were unexpectedly sold by a record label employee, and so our guy vanished from the scene for twenty years.

In The Air Tonight, 1987 :)
The Oscillation Out Of Phase
Voto:
I think they have nothing to do with the Oscillation :) I was just talking about the emotional impact; there, the dub at the conclusion of an unsettling math-rock album has a somewhat similar disorienting effect to how it's used in this out of phase with psychedelic results.

Think, I discovered it through the Gallery of Mites reviewed here by Antmo, what can I say, it's really amazing, I listened to it three times today and I'm a bit dazed.

I don't know if it has anything to do with black lips, but in 2009 I definitely dive into Union Carbide Productions!

Yes, I too preferred the previous one; upon release, it was one of the records I listened to the most. Perhaps this time the songs are a bit lacking; you can feel the groove, you can tell they know what they're doing, but they don't catch on and don't stick in your head. But does anyone know anything about the Mondo Drag album, coming out now also on Alive?
Bob Mould Live @ Interzona (VR) 12.12.09

Nice report, and it’s good to hear that Mould is still true because unfortunately his latest albums to my ears sound quite fake and from a bloated bourgeois (horrible I would dare say but I won’t say it... I’ll whisper it, come on), quite the opposite of Grant Hart who still has a certain freshness, at least on record. Cheers.
