I miss them! I have the next two, which are really dirty and full of wicked grooves, especially the beautiful Lunar Womb. Compared to Saint Vitus, they are less doom and more rocking; still, for me, in the "black sabbath" genre, Electric Wizard stands a step above.

On the first listen, I liked it; on the second, I thought it was better to rewatch District 13 or In the Mouth of Madness; on the third, it fell flat for me.

In my opinion, it's a pretty mediocre album; maybe I'm wrong, but it's just boring to me. I mean, In Utero still has something to say after 22 years, but these Metz... I don't know. It's probably me; even the latest Shellac left me completely indifferent. On the other hand, I've been listening a lot to the Pile album; at least it's diverse.

Over the years, I've listened to something; I remember Lord of the Underground: Vishnu and the Magic Elixir and Ominous From the Cosmic Inferno. Oh my God, "I remember" is a lie... to me, they are elusive.

I also don't think it's as cold as you portray it, but you can sense that they are Finnish. I associate them with things like Sula Bassana; in any case, great band and excellent rediscovery.
