Well, Sanjuro, just the fact that you present yourself as immune from the usual reheated metal soup like L.A. Guns and their offspring brings a sigh of relief. But you know, what you perceive as shapeless chaos I see as a wall of sound saturated in the studio; perhaps this kind of music is better enjoyed live rather than on those four masterpieces by Husker, which, by the way, were not exactly recorded in an optimal way (I even had to throw away my original copy of Zen Arcade because it was too quiet and search for one online at least 600 k/b). But you see, it’s a matter of sensitivity. For example, that buzzing bothers you, if I understood correctly, so you probably wouldn’t like the immense Black Flag on Damaged, right??
