The Church Uninvited, Like The Clouds
Voto:
It's really strange that when talking about The Church, everyone mentions Heyday and Starfish, while they overlook the unrivaled masterpiece of The Church that didn't arrive in the 80s but instead came in 1996 with the stellar "Magician Among the Spirits." I really need to get this because they always deserve it.

but fuck off you shit failed (I'll find out who you are, don’t worry coward hiding in gray) I was watching Cronenberg films while you were still stuck on Disney ones, you missed the mark you fool, you’re talking to a fine connoisseur of this subject, step aside or I’ll turn you into mush.

For me, "Inseparables" remains perhaps his masterpiece, where the classic trait of Cronenberg emerges despite his work that pushes towards the blending of technology and the ancient; note the last scene of the film that resembles a Renaissance painting. It is a very disturbing film, perhaps the one that most convincingly illustrates the relationship between Eros and Thanatos, but all his films have something disturbing, something that risks becoming repulsive. Of the ones before "Videodrome," Odradek rightly cites "Crime," and I also mention "The Demon Inside My Skin," films that are still spartan but in a sense genius. I truly like all his works up to "Spider." "Madame Butterfly," even just for the last scene—where David uses melodrama for Irons' suicide—is worth remembering. And "Naked Lunch" as well; it was not easy to bring one of the most anti-cinematic books to the screen. And then there’s the scene where he spins scenes like that of the mugwump at the bar with a cigarette and a shot glass, or the scene in the cage. Well, honor to the master.

donjunio, you seem rather arrogant in saying that you really understood what Yorke means with his lyrics, lyrics that in this album seem quite cryptic and disorienting to me. My final fit and blah blah, did you really get the meaning of "no surprises"? Are you really sure?? So sure to say it's educational? Come on, verses like those in "Paranoid Android" aren't everyday things, kicking, squealing, Gucci little piggy...

A record that marked an era, certain mediocre comments from you can't change that. OK COMPUTER is the album that marks the age of computers in people’s everyday lives. It’s no coincidence that the internet began to spread in Italy and the West in 1997.

Aside from the fact that Nine Inch Nails have been active since 1989 and are literally dead today, not to mention Tool, who have been around since 1992... frankly, I struggle to understand what you’re saying...
