Mack the Knife has also been covered by Nick Cave; however, there are other pieces by Brecht that I like, such as Surabaya Johnny, Youkali Tango, Cannon Song, Lost in the Stars, September Song, Ballad of the Soldier's Wife, Oh Heavenly Salvation, all of which have been widely covered by other modern artists on various tribute albums dedicated to Weill released in recent years.

The East is now surpassing us in every genre, even in horror. It makes me think of Takeshi Miike, who is by far the best living director in my opinion, and he has made some horror films too, like Audition, which starts as a romantic film and then delves into the darkest perversion.
