Yes, he could do it if he wanted to, he could take part in festivalbar, or Sanremo or be invited by Fazio on his show, but I just don't see him in those places, so he's doing the right thing.

So far, the piece I've liked the most is "finestre rotte," very bluesy, but I haven't listened to the whole album yet; I'll definitely do that as soon as possible. De Gregori is now famous for constantly transforming his songs with new arrangements, and I don't think that's a bad thing. In fact, if you go to see the songs from this album live now, you're likely to find something different; his songs are in constant evolution, which is remarkable for a fifty-seven-year-old man.

This is what I like about Branduardi: he doesn't care about trends, he's not interested in appearing on television or promoting himself (and he could if he wanted to), I see him as a craftsman locked up in his workshop.
