In this album, Guccini exhibits a more matured form, but in a positive sense; his songs are more poetic and the music more refined, with an ethnic-Mediterranean style (see "Odysseus", C.Colombo), quite suitable for the lyrics. It reminds me a lot of summer; every time I hear it, I am overwhelmed by joy. I don't know exactly why.

First of all, congratulations!
The review perfectly reflects the album. I'm not old at all; we can say I belong to the future generation (if that's how one puts it), but I really appreciated this album, and "La razza in estinsione" made me think a lot.

I haven't listened to the album, but it's true: the medieval minstrel style is over. Today, we can consider his albums as those of a great Italian singer-songwriter trying to make a comeback, but unable to create music like before. Simply because he has already tried everything. Nonetheless, many of Branduardi's "storyteller" songs are really beautiful.

I agree with Emanuele: The album might not be great, but to say that Carlos isn't good, or that he's not a guitarist, well, that's going too far; I can't accept that.
