Ivano Fossati Musica Moderna

Honestly, the song played on the radio (the name of which I currently can't recall) doesn't bother me, but since I know little to nothing about Fossati, I don't want to make any comparisons. Fossati is one of the few true Italian artists I'm missing; I should delve deeper into his work.

Anyway, the album cover is truly stunning. They should also include "Vote the review" and "Vote the album," along with "Vote the cover."

They seem interesting, I'm curious to listen to them, I always say so but then months go by and I still haven't heard anything because there are dozens and dozens of albums I still have to listen to.

Alice Visconti Cosa Resta... Un Fiore

Alice has done several covers of Italian singers. Some of the songs I like the most are "Per Elisa," "I Treni di Tozeur," and "Le Ragazze di Osaka" (stunning even though I prefer Finardi's version).

In Japan, animated cinema is cinema in every sense; there are films for adults, those for children, and those for both (like Miyazaki, of course). In the West, however, animation is seen as something exclusively for children, largely because Disney has always targeted its animated films to a very young audience. Furthermore, Disney acquired the distribution rights for Studio Ghibli films in the Western market, and while this has allowed us to access these films, it has also hindered their spread as in Japan, or at least that’s how I see it.
